Elisabeth Sunday
The Collector's Circle
Getting your work funded

Elisabeth Sunday developed a business model designed to support herself as an emerging fine art photographer and she maintains this practice now through midcareer.
She calls it, "The Collector's Circle" and it's made up of three tiers: collectors, donors and sponsors. Her business model has successfully funded over two dozen international field expeditions and has allowed her work to be collected by
museums across the country. The donor tier of the Collector's Circle offers an affordable alternative for collectors seeking to support an artist through purchases that will later be donated to a museum for tax purposes. These funding techniques provide the quality of long term support that can usher an emerging fine art photographer into the next stage of their career. During the discussion Elisabeth Sunday along with fine art appraiser Stacy Roman will share their knowledge of fundraising and the gifting process. Stacy Roman is a licensed fine art appraiser and is intricately familiar with current tax law and the gifting process.

Elisabeth Sunday photographs indigenous peoples from around the world, primarily in Africa.
She uses the technique of "Mirror Photography" to create surreal, spiritual and deeply personal
collaborations with tribal people. Her work has been widely shown and is in museum collections
including the LACMA, The Houston Museum of Art, The Cleveland Museum of Art and the Corcoran Collection.

Re-imagine Collecting

Greetings Friends and Collectors,
Through various circle programs,
my work and studio have been supported by collectors for over 25 years.

The Classic Collector's Circle is aimed at keeping my work affordable for emerging collectors.

The Super Circle is an extraordinary opportunity for philanthropic collectors to contribute meaningfully to my work while getting a nice collection of prints in exchange, including the platinum prints and the silver gelatin prints.

Sponsor and Benefactor levels support upcoming projects.

If you are interested in receiving more information, please email me.

Thank you,

Elisabeth Sunday
