Re-Imagine Collecting

THE COLLECTOR'S CIRCLE, 2018

Each year since 1986, ten visionary and awesome collectors join my studio to become members of the Collector's Circle. The Collector's Circle are people who believe in my work and care about what I'm doing in photography. I'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to become a member for 2018.
In essence, memberships are paid in advance and rewarded with an even greater studio credit. This system of support offers members special prices and access to prints not otherwise available to the public.
Circle members have the option of selecting prints from current and past portfolios, as well as future projects. They have access to prints not available through galleries and have "first look" and option to select new prints.

Circle memberships are available at a few different levels; Classic, Super, Sponsor, and Benefactor.
Each level supports my creative projects throughout the year and offers me the exceptional gift of freedom to p…

The Collector's Circle 2017

Join Me in the new 2017 Collector's Circle
For over thirty years, I’ve invited ten people each year to join my studio and become members.  They are known as “The Collector’s Circle.” With their combined support, I am able to work on creative projects throughout the year. This is how all of my work to date has been conceived: from the botanical series, to Africa,  the Mystics and Healers portfolios, Micronesia and beyond.
In essence, the Collector’s Circle advances funds against future print purchases in order to receive special, pre-publication prices not otherwise available. Collector’s Circle members have the option of selecting prints from future or recent work, as well as from past portfolios. They also have special access to view new work as it becomes available, visit the studio, or come help out at an art fair.

Now that I am living in France, I am inviting ten new collectors to join this year’s Collector’s Circle; from here or across the Atlantic,I look forward to welcoming y…

Re-imagine Collecting

Greetings Friends and Collectors,
Through various circle programs,
my work and studio have been supported by collectors for over 25 years.

The Classic Collector's Circle is aimed at keeping my work affordable for emerging collectors.

The Super Circle is an extraordinary opportunity for philanthropic collectors to contribute meaningfully to my work while getting a nice collection of prints in exchange, including the platinum prints and the silver gelatin prints.

Sponsor and Benefactor levels support upcoming projects.

The Collector's Circle
Getting your work funded

Elisabeth Sunday developed a business model designed to support herself as an emerging fine art photographer and she maintains this practice now through midcareer.
She calls it, "The Collector's Circle" and it's made up of three tiers: collectors, donors and sponsors. Her business model has successfully funded over two dozen international field expeditions and has allowed her work to be collected by
museums across the country. The donor tier of the Collector's Circle offers an affordable alternative for collectors seeking to support an artist through purchases that will later be donated to a museum for tax purposes. These funding techniques provide the quality of long term support that can usher an emerging fine art photographer into the next stage of their career. During the discussion Elisabeth Sunday alo…
